Famous People Who Sew or Knit

Many people enjoy sewing or knitting. After all, it's a great way to make something for a friend or family member and save some money. However, there are famous people who also enjoy sitting back and doing one of these crafts.

We can all thank Betsy Ross for sewing the American flag which is still honored today. Some famous people who enjoy either sewing or knitting are Madonna, Venus Williams, and Nicole Kidman. Venus used to make clothes for her dolls when she was young. Nicole Kidnman wanted better clothes for her kids than she could find in the shops, so she started making them. There are even men who enjoy this craft. Pete Wentz found out he's going to be a daddy, and he is excited about sewing baby clothes. Chris Martin of Coldplay say they all like sewing together.

There are also celebrities that like to knit. A few that do are Julia Roberts, Cameron Diaz, and Sarah Jessica Parker. They all know a woman named Monica and they go to her house to spend time together relaxing and knitting. Monica even created knitting needles that have LED lights in them so they all can knit even if there isn't much light. This is a way that these famous women can get together and just be girls while knitting some fabulous item of clothing for a special person in their life.
