To market your products online, you need four tools including a website, a blogger, a UTube video, and a podcast. The theme of your website revolves around your product. The blogging, Utube, and a podcast drive traffic or computer users to your website. Once a computer user clicks on your website, you have five seconds to convince him/her to buy your product. Computer users respond to pictures so upload photos without your website becoming too cluttered. The concept of driving traffic to your website is called Attraction Marketing.
The ideal target for your product is a market that has problems, has money, and wants its problems solved quickly. The goal then is to attract this market to you. The way you attract computer users to your website is with short, informative blogs about your product(s). Keywords that you use in your blogs will show up in search engines.
Advertising your product can be expensive. There are, however, free classified ads on Craigslist.com, Backpage.com, and khrido.com, which will make your product known to the public. You can also host a party at your home showing guests your products. After you’ve been in business for a while, you’ll be able to refine your product’s packaging and price point. At this time, you’ll be able to sell your product in bulk to wholesalers. There is a lot to handle when you deal with major accounts, like Wal-Mart, Target, Sephora, and so on. You have to handle a fulfillment, returns, rollbacks, slotting fees, advertising and more, which requires a strong business foundation.
